Talking about truck sightings, I went to Oregon last week for a business trip, I
flew into Portland and rented a car to make my way to Corvallis, on my way there
there was a ten car pile up on Hwy. 5 (One person dead and 12 injured = High
speed + wet pavement). I spent 5 hours stuck in traffic, finally when the cops
let the traffic go to alternates routes and I found my self lost on some back
road between Portland and Corvallis, I must have seen at least 10 AD on the
road.
The most interesting I saw was a 1948 3/4 ton riding on a trailer, I drove at
list 25 miles behind this truck, it was red/orange and in pretty good shape,
looked like a recent restoration. Finally made it to Corvallis at 6:00PM, missed
a meeting I had at 2:00PM. Anyway, a lot of great looking trucks in the Oregon
back roads.
