Is the thumping accompanied with any vibration? Any worse with truck loaded? I
had a worn oakie bushing in the drive shaft of one of my trucks but was more of
a vibration than thump and got much worse with a load (changed the angle of the
U-joint).
I changed the parking lights to dual filament so I could also use them as
directionals. The dual filament sockets were included in a new harness but I've
seen them sold separately. Not hard to put in.
