Hi all,
Does anyone out there know of a gas tank that would fit a '51 AD. I'd
like to install it between the frame rails, between the cab and the rearend.
This way I could still carry a spare behind the rearend. I'm thinking of
running the fill pipe up thru the bed floor and out the side of the bed in
the forward corner on the drivers side.
Don't know about anyone else, but that idea of having the fill cap on
the passanger side of the auto just aggrevates the hell out of me. Maybe
It's because I can't get the wife to believe that, by design, this makes it
her job to fill the tank, check the oil and air and wash the windows.;).
