Hi Jeff,

        Take a look at the '47-'48 tanks. You might be able to adapt one to fit
the drivers side. The filler neck goes through the box side underneath
the floor. 
        As for your wife...if you ever get her to go for it, let me know how so
I can train Karen! *G*
