Sorry to be posting a late answer to this paint question, but thought I
ought to warn you that not all primers are compatible. Layering Primer is
the best technique to eventually end up with the smoothest possible
undercoat for your beautiful top coat, but I had some real bad experiences
with spray can primers under other primers. I now am a firm believer is
sticking to one manufacturer's paint system where each layer is compatible
with the previously applied layers.
