For those of you Ole-truckers who are using AMC Pacer front ends out there,
PLEASE let me ( ie, an AMC car nut as well ) know if there are any other good
parts left on those Pacer(s) you're ripping the parts off of so I can keep my
'79 Wagon running. I belong to an email AMC-List similar to Ole Trucks, so
would like to know where all these parts Pacers are, if you don't mind. I
also have 3 Gremlins, 3 Javelins, a Hornet as well. My main parts priorities
are the Gremlin, Pacer, and the Javelin. Although if you run across a nice
SC/360 Hornet.. . :). Anyway, I realize that you can't save every AMC car out
there, but there are some hard to find parts, like the gauge pod on the trans
hump of Pacers, dash tach, etc that would be nice to find/save, if you don't
mind letting us AMC people know where they are, it would be definitely
appreciated by us " orphan " car lovers.
    I'm buying/moving into a "new" home in a few weeks , with 2-car ( er,
2-truck! ) garage, and hope to start finishing some projects, like my Gremlin
and the '55-2 Chevy Suburban I have. My '57 Chevy car also needs to get
finished, or at least for me to get restarted on restoring it. Thanks again
for any leads from you Oletruckers out there for AMC parts/cars, no matter
what state you're in, I can forward them to the AMC list for salvage
information if they're not close enough to me. Keep the ol' tin moving!
Public Service Announcement : Leon's Salvage Yard, Culpeper, VA on Rt. 29

This man has almost 100+ acres of nothing but old cars/trucks from the
40's on up, still has a few 50's Subs and Panels. He will sell entire cars
and trucks. His father ran the business, then Leon Jr. took over. Prices
vary, he knows what he's got, but the more you buy, the cheaper the prices
overall, usually. His phone # is ( 540 ) 547-2366. I've shopped there for
over 10 years, and still there are parts of the yard I haven't fully seen.
It's a big place! Anyway, he won't ship parts, so you'll have to come to him.
But it's worth the trip for a trip back into time! See ya!
