My son and I are in a very fortunate position. Because of an inheritance, we
can move the restorodification of our 55-1 ahead. I'm going to have someone
do this because during my recovery I can't lift anything more than 10 lbs.
We want to move the gas tank to under the bed. Has anyone put the filler cap
in the fender? Roll pan or back bumper? Someone said the bumper gives you
extra protection. Bed wood or plate? If wood oak or pine? If plate cover it
with black gook (rhino whatever). Watching old Norm on the Yankee workshop,
he chose cedar over oak because oak is not a very good outdoor wood. Just
some thoughts and we would appreciate your opinions.
