I second what your last email said. Being an aircraft  mechanic by
profession, I always put things back to better than auto standards.
here's a place where I get a lot of my parts. They have all sorts of nut
plates.

P.S. You'd be better of riveting the nut plates on. That way if they
ever strip or get broken, all you have to do is drill out the rivet and
swap out the nut plate.
