I'm back...1 week away and daughter said I has 349 e-mails from the group.
Neat!!! First off, shirts and decals-I second the motion, whoever made it. Would
drum up some activity for the group too, plus, as said before, identify us in
public.(As if we need that!)
Second, vacationed in Canada...we live in Michigan. Once ya get to Toronto you
are half-way there. Little place called Bennett's Lake, near Perth. Saw NO ole
trucks, Chevy/GMC or otherwise! None on the roads; and suprisingly, none in
backyards or behind barns, etc!!! I've heard Canada was years ahead of us in
recycling but to this extent?
Third, the 1960 chevy shorty stepside I saw at auction 2 weeks ago went for
$1000. The guy paid his money, got the title, started it up and drove home. And
it's staying local too!!! Keeping my eye on it now too.
Fourth, the asterisk-in-place-of-letters-bit: It would drive Vanna nuts,
wouldn't it? Seriously, I can appreciate them all and admire them too...but like
my wife, I've got my favorite.
