That stuff is a rip-off. Get some epoxy from Home Depot or similar place. Use a
hacksaw blade only (no blade holder) and cut down to the steel core all around.
Make the cut wide enough to force the epoxy into the new cut. Let it set for a
day or two in a humid environment.
