Hello all,
My name is Christian and I've been a lurker on the Ole Trucks list
for quite a while now. I'm interested in your opinions regarding my
newest project. I have found a 1953 Panel in running/rolling condition
for $1,000. Apparently a dork put windows and a vent in it, so I'll have
to do some panel patching. The big question is: am I going to have some
extraordinary problems finding parts and such? Fourspeed on the floor.
Might this be a 3/4 or one ton?
    I currently have a complete 1950 GMC 100 and a 1951 Chevy 3100 (that
was to be a parts truck, until I found out that the tucks were 1/2 and
3/4 tons...not to smart for me.) But here in the Seattle area it's going
to be a better idea to have an enclosed rig and I really need the added
boost of a rolling truck. The overall concept now is to liquidate the
two pickups and get the Panel as one consolidated and functional
project. Waddaya think?
