Last month I wired in a nice little CD player (Pioneer or JVC ) in my Nieces
car that uses a remote control unit for hands free operation. This might be
a nice solution so you don't have to cut up that dash. I mounted hers under
the seat so it wouldn't be stolen like the last unit that was in the dash.
I'm going to purchase one for my Jeepster and mount it out of the way in the
glove box so as not to temp anyone.
I think the cost was around 230.00 or so.
