Neil,
No the 1/2 and 3/4 ton steering is smaller than larger trucks. I don't
know if 1 ton is the same as 1-1/2, and 2 ton, probably not. I got new
tie rod ends for my 1 ton from Moog. They don't list a drag link.
I will probably get a used tie rod and have it cut down and treaded to
make a drag link using new tie rod ends. By using a tie rod I know i'm
getting the right metal for a steering part. I just have to be sure to
end up with the right length.
The shop manuals for Chevy cover 1/2 to 2 tons. GMC's have one manual
fot 1/2 to 2 tons, then separate manuals for trucks above 2 tons.
