If you can get an accessory installation manual, these light switches
and wiring are covered as they were an accessory in 55-2 through
57, don't know about '58-59. The wires from the switch go down through
the steering column into a plug under the dash, and from there, to
the indicators, and out of the cab underneath. There are two hot
wires up to the switch, one is through the blinker and the other
is through the brake light switch. Then there are four wires out,
two for the front signals and indicators and two for the rear signals.
When I get home tonight, I'll look up the wire colors.

I would start with the power wires and check that there is power
going to the switch. Then check the switch. Look for things like
brake lights work, turn signals don't, front signals work, rear ones
don't, and so on, to isolate the wiring problem.

If you need, I can scan the wiring diagram for a '57 along with
the other pages.
