Maybe I better re-think that idea, HMMMMMMMMMM. While I realized there would be
a slight geometry change I never though about the problems it could cause,
thanks for pointing it out.

Ernie,

Just keep in mind that by removing the two leafs you not only softened the
ride and lowered the truck a bit but you also slightly changed the pinion
angle.  You are now going to have a rearend that will tend to rotate more
from spring wrap and unwrap which will translate to increased u-joint wear
among other things.   Just something to think about if you have problems
later on down the road.
