There is a rubber seal and retainer plate that go around the motor. It 
attaches to the firewall with two screws. With a peice of innertube, some 
sheet metal and some heavy-duty  tin snips you could reproduce it. Better 
yet use a die grinder with a cut-off wheel and cut the metal that way. The 
tin snips tend to distort the metal.
