It is my understanding that the currently available gear sets are selling
for $400, so the estimated price point would be less than 1/2.  Further, I
guess that it would also be possible to make a different ratio.

You are quite right though, it would probably be easier and more profitable
for my client to make new gear sets for 9 inch Fords, or 8 3/4 Chryslers.
But I thought it might be nice if our group could get cheaper parts.
