I think that's a bit different than what I'm looking for.  I have a 4-speed
Saginaw with the OD from a 3-speed adapted to it.  The conversion was
performed based on an article in Hot Rod in the 70's.

I ran it in a Firebird for a while, and then one of my brothers ran it in a
V-8 powered Vega for a while.  I pulled it out of my dad's garage a few
months ago, thinking it would go well in my old suburban, but the shifter
was gone, and I've not been able to find anything even close.
