[oletrucks] getting a Virginia title

does anyone know how to get a title for a car in Virginia?  I recently sold 
a '54 Buick to a couple there and they are concerned because all I can offer 
right now is a notorized bill of sale.  I got the car at an auction and 
since the previous owner is residing 6' under I dont think getting the 
original title is an option
