       Actually, "relaxing" would indicate LOSS of tension, and they would be
LONGER, not shorter. :D  The rear shackles should pivot and swing forward
enough to engage the holes.  Are the stock front leafs shorter than the
rears, and they got mixed up if you got both sets replaced? Just a
thought....
