Phil:
Pat has the right idea, but I have seen where that hasn't worked. If
that doesn't work, I have on numerous occasions taken a FLAT BAR or screw
driver, the thickness of the head gasket and tapped it very easily
between the head and the block. BE VERY CARFELL WHEN DOING THIS so you
will not score the head or block. Just tap it in about 1/2 inch all the
way around the head.
