Naturally, though since these are original parking lights, they each have
one single filament bulb currently.  I'm still debating what I'm going to
put in it, and thought I'd check the halogen bulb options before deciding.

I also need to decide how to control them.  These isn't any kind of switch
on my sm420 and I don't want to go looking for one of the later ones that
has the switch.  I'm thinking relay control with a reed switch positioned so
a magnet on the shift lever triggers it only when in reverse.

There may be a better  answer, but that's where I'm at today.  The easiest
is a toggle that I have to remember to turn off, and that's risky...

I'm glad my site helped you out.

They work great, too - when I turn 'em on, they light everything up
nice and bright!  Naturally, you'll want to hook up BOTH wires to the
hot lead to get the full brightest of a backup light.
