Can't use the stock brake light switch for this as it is "off" (open) when
pressed and "on" (closed) when released. To use such a switch you would need
to have it pressed all the time except when you engaged reverse.

Steve, back-up switch....how about a brake switch like on firewall of most
AD trucks? lever hits it and pushes it to go on. On 3spd, would be easy with
linkage, even up on firewall. Not sure if you can get enuf movement for only
Reverse on lever. Never mind, no room under floor there, and look stupid on
top of floor, kinda dumb after all. Could have a push on only, that you have
to hold and mount it on shifter like a 2spd switch is. OR, a 2spd switch
itself on lever. Seems like you would remember easier, be one hand/finger
operation, and right handy. Wouldn't even need to look to use it. I like
that idea. Truck places should have a switch like that!
