Hey there List Members,
1st off I really want to THANK you ALL for all for your support, &
concern... and thanks for all of those very nice "Get Well" cards &
words of encouragement!!! You guys really were a part of my recovery,
and I can't thank you all enough! On my down days (bad days) in the
hospital I would start reading all of the cards and letters and in
minutes I'd be in good spirits and start feeling better! That made my
day!!!!!!!!!!!! Matter of fact, it inspired me NOT to put my ole
suburban up for sale. Yeah I was actually thinking about getting rid of
my pride and joy after I woke up from my coma and found myself hooked up
to a vent to breath, needing blood dialysis 3 times a week because my
kidneys had failed and a ton of other problems to go along with it. I
just couldn't figure out how something that I love so much could do this
to me??? But after reading those letters & cards with everyone's warm
wishes and kind thoughts got me to thinking how much I really love these
ole rigs of ours and how much of a DIP I'd be if I did get rid of the
suburban! So thanks again...it means a lot to me!!!! Here's a link to

If you are wondering what happened well here's a short short story... It
happened Aug. 27th. I was working on my old burb adjusting the clutch
and getting it ready for the Brother's Truck Show that was going to be
held the very next day and somehow the end of my wrench shorted out the
starter solenoid and started the motor. Well Dummy me had it in reverse
with the battery still connected while I was under it laying on my back,
the suburban's front axle came rolling over my head (causing a skull
fracture) and it pinched my chest down into the cement, the front 4x4
Napco differential housing smashed my chest and drug me about 20 feet
until the suburban hit my house. Any way I feel a lot better now, but I
still have a lot of healing to do. So please disconnect your battery
while working on your rigs, I almost died 4-times! I was in a coma for
2-months, on a vent, my kidneys failed (now their working), I paralyzed
my right chest diaphragm that helps me breath, I had road rash all over
my back side, I blew out my knee while being dragged down the driveway,
and a bunch of other things were wrong. So watch out while you are under
there working...please!

I'm home now & still weeding through my email from august. I had a total
of 3,267 emails to read through. I know that I've been blessed by a 2nd
chance at life. Now after the storm... the air is fresh, the grass is a
lot more green, and the sky is a deeper blue than before! Thanks for
being a link in the chain of my recovery!!! I can't thank you ALL
enough!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Pee-Wee.
