Luke,
I have restored 3 vehicles and I have used fine sand to sandblast all of them
and I have not had any problems. They are a '32 Chevy Roadster, '58 GMC,
and a '64 Corvair. As long as you don't continually hold the nozzle in one
area, there should be no problems.
