My 57 uses the column and pedals from a 79 Bonneville. I think all the
GM columns from the mid to late 70's are about the same. The pedal
assembly I believe is pretty much the same too (someone will correct me
if I'm wrong) but as you found out there are a number of different
master cylinders. As far as I know the guy that put my column and pedals
in also used the MC from the Bonnie.
