I ordered from Eaton.  They were smart enough to know that '57 GMC half
tons were equipped with 6, 7 or 8 leaf front springs and had the
"formula" for each of these options.  

Eaton is VERY down on mono leaf springs.  The only ones they sell are
replacements for OEM mono leaf springs such as those on 60s/70s Chevy
II, Nova, Camaro and Firebird.  Here is a pointer to their rant:

Eaton spring can also make you a mono-spring or leaf-set, set at any 
height/ride you desire. i did the same thing on my project (removing 2 
springs) thinking i would purchase a set of eaton mono-leaf springs if
they 
failed.
