You may have a well that runs on 3 phase, Much more efficient.
motors are cheaper. a lot of times you can buy used tools cheaper
because they are 3 phase.
I do a lot of woodworking and have several 3 phase tools ( Table
saw, Compressor, Bandsaw)
and have to use a converter. I would love to have the power from
the pole, but it would cost me a bundle to convert.
