I put that '04 truck on eBay the same day I found out that even the throttle 
linkage is another electronic module.

If the battery is low the accelerator doesn't work. Absolute nonsense to do 
away with a little 1/4" rod and replace it with an electronic gadget that 
probably costs $500 when it fails.
