Hey!

To remove the pilot bushing from my 1275, I used a very
small chisle -- ground down from an old screw driver
blade. Maybe 3/16" wide and ground VERY sharp. I just tapped
it with a hammer to chisle a slot along the length
of the bushing, in toward the engine, till the bushing split.
Then I just peeled it up and out. Its very thin and very
soft, so it doesn't present much of a problem.
