Motor stands?

Hello All;

I was at a Parts America store the other day and saw an engine stand for
40 bucks that was holding a v8 block.  It had adjustable mounts, but I
couldn't tell if I could use it for the midget 1275 engine.

What do you guys use and how do I measure the stand to tell if it will
work with my block?
