Okay, my day (no exaggeration):

Beautiful ride to work in the Bugeye - 70 degrees at 6am. Wife calls -
realtor is showing our house. She piles kids and dog into minivan (dog is
nuts - can't be left home with realtor coming). Dog jumps up and down at
prospect of riding in minivan, lands on wife's toe. Rips nail 99% off her
big toe. She decides to try to drive to my mom's house, gets to causeway 2
miles from the house and stops - too much pain. Mom picks her up and
brings dog to my work for me to bring him home. Well, 105 pound lab piles
into the bugeye with me. We decide to follow wife to Dr. office because
wife is in lots of pain and needs moral support. BRAKES GO OUT APPROACHING
STOPLIGHT!!!! Pull handbrake, double clutch into first, wedge between 2
cars at the light without touching. I pull over to check MC reservoir. Dog
panics and jumps out and begins to run across a field toward Melbourne (FL)
airport. After considering letting him just keep on going, I flag him
down. We get to Doc's office without further event. Wife goes in for
surgical removal of nail. Doc is 1 block to beach. No bikini watching
for me - I walk dog to beach, he craps near boardwalk. Traffic cop gives me
warning. I scoop, and find 2nd cop near bugeye preparing to write parking
ticket 'cause Doc's lot was full and I parked Bugeye on street. Explain a
bit of my day and cop is cool with it. Wife is done, sedated, and happy.
Mom drives her and kids home, me and stupid dog follow. Bugeye begins to
miss badly. Pull over - bad plug wire, I think (later confirmed). Pull
Bugeye into garage, toss cover on it, don't want to see it til sunday.

Other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how'd you like the play?
