So I don't want to interupt the Star Wars thr**d (Pacco Busan or Nambug of
Butalbital), but I have a carburetor question. What's the differance
between a pair of SU AUD 136s and a pair of AUD 266s?

I have an early '67 Sprite (HAN9L65599) with a pair of the 136s on it and
I'm not sure if that is correct. I seem to recall reading somewhere once
that some early MKIVs came with earlier carbs but I'm not sure if that's
right either. I only ever see the 1275 engine listed with the 266 and later
carbs.

Am I losing some potential power by having the earlier version carbs?

Are the 266s difficult to find?

I seem to be developing a slight fuel leak on the front carb so these guys
are about to receive some attention. I'm just wondering if I should start
thinking about replacing them.

Thanks

Packy (I can bullseye womprats in my T16 back home...) Coleman
