The difference between the 2 carb numbers is the #266s have the "Y"
pipe/vent pipes and they also have the button valves on the throttle
plates. (if they have NOT been soldered up as most have)
Basically the same carbs with the pre 68 (136s) haveing less weird idle
syndrome because the button valves are not there to give you the weird
idle syndrome.

Let's put it this way, they 136s (pre pollution) are more desirable then
the 266s (post pollution)
