I agree, check the distributor. I had a very similar problem w/ a 64 Chevy Corvair. It turned out to be a badly worn point plate that wiggled around. It worked fine under accelleration, but moved about when you took your foot off the gas a bit. (Sorry, I am new to LBC's, but not to LAC's!!) Fred |
