remove the gear shifter retainer (circular piece retained by three bolts).
note 2 ears that are raised on either side of the hole that the shifter
gomes through. with a small hammer gently tap down the 2 raised aereas a
little bit. refit on the car and check for free play. if still loose
remove and lower these two aereas a little more untill shifter feels snug
but not stiff and hard to shift. treat the shifter to a bit of lubrication
and that should relieve the shifter vibration while driving. or
......ummmmm, try a real loud exhaust system (fixed mine!).
