Starter solenoid

While replacing a bad positive battery lead I stripped the threads on the 
starter solenoid.  Is this a simple threaded rod that can be replaced?

The solenoid that I have is not an original.  It has a push button that makes 
contact as if the ignition switch were turned to the start position.  It was 
great to have when adjusting the values.  What car did this come from and 
can I get another if the old one can't be repaired?
