Unless of course you live in Great Britain and even then DOT 4 is preferred.
 
Don't forget DOT 5.1 

Silicone Fluid is no suitable for performance applications and as the archive 
will confirm can damage brake light switches.

For those have seen Fawlty Towers starring John Cleese I do not resemble a 
spanish waiter (ED - have you seen the shows?).
