Hi Patton,

Sure do do. I believe we have a couple of listers over there. Also the
MG car museum is really neat to see.

I have heard of the rental car people using MGF's, this would be a great
ride in GB. I would like to try one of them here. Has a 200hp 4 cyl
engine in them. It should scoot right along rather quickly. They also
have a new suspension, the gas shocks are all tied together to equalize.

If you need more info on the Museum or MGF rentals let me know, I have a
few friends here in the states from that island.

Get the first train out of London, see some countryside, decent car museums
and stay in Hotels that are cheaper. EG: Coventry motoring museum - free to
get into and less than an hour and a half on the train - let the SO spend
time at the Cathedral and peace Centre. Stay in Northampton and have a hire
car for the day to go to the BL Heritage Museum at Gaydon. Go back to London
and the day before you leave go to Brooklands. See some classic car
motorsports (and hope it doesn't rain).

Here's some info about the Haynes museum:

http://www.haynesmotormuseum.co.uk/

As for Pub Crawls, we do our own. I'll admit, we rarely do London
because it's too noisy, crowded, and expensive. We generally do the
North (Yorkshire and Durham) or the South West (Dorset, Devon,
and Cornwall). There are a load of rsources on the internet, but I
would start with this newsgroup:

uk.food+drink.real-ale

You need a newsreaded rather than a browser, but you can ask the local experts
for the "best" pubs in an area.

Patton,

If you rent a car, you can drive a couple hours south-west of London,
down in Dorset or Devon, I forget which, to see the Haynes Motor
Museum. It WILL knock your socks off. Just imagine one huge gallery
absolutely fill of lbc's, and ALL RED! And of course, there are other
galleries in the museum as well, with other cars, too. But the gallery
of ALL RED CARS is not to be missed - everything from Spridgets
to Astons to Jags, and just about everything else as well.

I think the guy who rents semi-exotic lbc's is way up North, maybe
around
Keightly (in western Yorkshire). He's got a Lotus 7, among other
rentals.

If you need any goof beer reccomendations, send a note. Wife and I go
over
'bout once a year, mostly for the pub crawls.
