I need to check the fuel gauge sending unit on the '75 Midget. The Bentley
manual shows a special tool for removing the sender from the tank. Can
someone tell me what's involved with extracting the unit? Can it be removed
without the special tool? It looks like it could be made from a piece of
pipe.
