This is another example of not being able to believe everything I read. 
"Bullit" is spelled with an "e".

But thanks for the suggestion. Maybe I'll do that, just don't dress up for 
halloween and carry a toy gun when i am on duty because I will be the one with 
the vest.

Why don't you just apply to be a Police Officer and (if you're 'lucky') get a 
Dept. issued "bullit proof vest"??
