bugeye tilt front end

it is way too simple to make a bugeye into a tilt front end!  remove the
bumper and brackets.  stash them away somewhere way out of the way.   remove
the 2 rear bolts on the hood latch striker plates on the frame rails.
unbolt the 8 hood hinge bolts  and remove (completly) the 2 telescopic
supports. (unplug the front wire harness to turn signals and head lights)
place the bonnet on the car and latch the original front latch in the
striker plates.  lift rear and it will tilt forward using the 2 remaining
forward striker plate bolts as the pivot piont.  you will have to figure out
the wiring hanress partial relocation in your personal favorite way !   and
you will need a form of retaining the rear as to keep it closed,  rubber
hold downs, leather straps, hood pins, what ever suits your personal taste?

mine was like this for around 14 years and it worked fine.
