it sounds like a $2500 dollar special.
12 years sitting means all new hydraulics, tires, paint, hoses, etc.
If you can drive it home but it needs work, $3500 is top dollar.
Let's face it asking and selling prices are way different.
The $30,000 Bugeyes are still forsale 5 years later for $30,000.
The $20,000 bugeyes have to be Concours to get that much and they are
not selling.
$10,000 Bugeyes are a dime a dozen and fetching $8-9,000
Nice freshly painted drivers are fetching 6-8k.
If you pay 5K for it, it better just need a good buffing and maybe some
minor brake parts and a tune up.
This would be real world prices.
Of course if you have to trailer it home, $500 would be a deal in your
favor. :)
