I had to make that decision twice when I was about that age (twenty-odd
years ago). Fisrt one was over an '67 MGB after the starter locked in a
church parking lot after the GF's friend was married. She said not to come
back til I bought a "real" car. I didn't. Second one after a '77 H-D,
"either the bike goes, or I go" speech. I'm waiting on the powder coater to
get the frame done on the very same bike. Late at night I sometimes wonder
what ever happened to those two girls. BTW the 'B burned down in a garage
under mysterious circumstances not too long after that wedding fiasco.
