For the rest, I'm trying to understand something from the January 2001 A-H
Sprite Concours Guide - on page 15 relating to the ignition coil. For cars
from AN5/501 to 11888 with the coil mounted on the generator, it states that
the ignition coil clamp bracket was painted red. From AN5/11889 the bracket
was zinc plated. Does this refer to the bracket which encircles the coil
itself? It just seems odd that this bracket would be red.......

No mention of this in OS&M.

Any help appreciated.
