RIGHT ON!! My head gasket job turned into a full engine restoration and how
can one put a lovely clean engine back into a dirty engine bay? Still
working on the body... and then paint... and probably the interior after
that.

Hey David. Remember this is a Spridget.  Just "Going to pull the engine to
clean the engine compartment" usually results in a complete engine rebuild.
Every job I have ever started on these cars began with the word "Just. . ."
and ended with "Damn. . ."  <g>
