"low flying Tornadoes" reminds me of a tale going round a few years
backwhen I worked in Northumberland about some traffic police using a
hand-held radar trap on the road between Rothbury and Alnwick. They
pointed the thing down the road just as a Tornado on low flying
practice appeared .........! Reputedly took the thing way off the
scale!
Anyway, good to meet you the other evening ---could have happily
stayed longer but I was picking up vibes from both wives that
suggested that any further Spridget talk was not considered
appropriate!
