Mark,

I have not sent you personal e-mail, as I assumed this would eventually bring
you to the list for discussion.

Let me first say how much I appreciate your efforts in maintaining the lists.
I can't imagine how or even why you do this, but I pray you never stop.

I also understand that the list is not a democracy, and that you have the
power and perhaps the right to kick anyone you choose off. I do think
however, from the messages I've read in the past, that you are a reasonable
and personalbe guy, and would not do anything just out of spite or without at
least considering what the rest of your list participants think.

I know Ed can be abrasive, and I spent the first couple of weeks I was on
this list chucking spears his way. Since then, we have become friends (even
though I have never met him) and he has never been disrespectful towards me.
Vulgar perhaps, but not disrespectful.

Plenty of others on the lists are loose in the manner in which they post, and
I expect my own proclivity to chasing rabbits (guns, cats, muslim terrorist,
etc.) has ticked off a number of people and even caused them to leave the
lists. All I can say is, if they cant take a joke...nevermind.

Anyway, bottom line, I think the right thing to do would be to poll the
listees and go with what the consensus says. Not everyone would respond, but
then not everyone votes anywhere, even in Florida. Your call, my opinion.

Oh yeah, and I think Ed should be openly on the list as Ed.

Regards,

Robert B. Houston
