I agree with Paul. What you describe does sound like original. The other
alternative is a flexible hose kit. I think it's sold as a vacuum line kit.
The one I found at the mass. merch. auto parts store had the right fittings
and ferrules for the block and the gauge. Ususally found with the
aftermarket gauges.
