Hmmm. Surprised you're having trouble. If you have the old one, can't they
measure it and find a good match? My '71 has a GM alternator conversion from a
PO. I had to change the mounting a bit and the belt that was on it wouldn't
work any more, so I just took one of those clothes measuring tapes, wrapped it
around the pulleys, and told them I needed a V belt of that length. No problems.
